Report on the implementation of project tasks for XI 2018- III 2021by UEK (Katowice, Poland)

Work Package 1 -As-Is Analysis

UEK developed and prepared the first one-site visit of the project partners (March 2019). Main topics discussed during the meeting was the analysis of the current state – problems, difficulties, needs etc. and setting of project challenges (draft of curriculum structure and selected modules etc). UEK took part at the one-site visits in Dresden and Madrid (March 2019).

Work Package  2 -Working out of the curriculum and modules

UEK reviewed and analyzed existing curricula,teaching and learning methodologies and assessment criteria of ALT and PGUPS by giving feedback in the assessment form. A total of 16 curricula were evaluated and feedback was provided to the respective universities:

Work Package 3 – Training of the lectures

UEK developed and presented the following presentations as part of the module Training of the lectures:
Mobility as a Service (MaaS) – concept for future of transportation (September 2019),
New mobility – GZM metropolis (September 2019),
Study methodology and student motivation (June 2020),
In September 2019 UEK took part in project meetings, workshops and training for lectures at:
Far Eastern State Transport University (FESTU), Khabarovsk (Russia),
Ural State University of Railway Transport (USURT), Yekaterinburg (Russia),
Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University (PGUPS), St. Petersburg (Russia).

Activities: Participation in meetings, workshops and intensive trainings, listening to presentations of projects participants and professors from FESTU, USURT, PGUPS concerning with the project activities and project progress. Discussing with others partners about the project and projects modules using laboratories, having contacts with representatives of practice. Visting laboratories in USURT, FESTU and PGUPS.

Work Package 6 – Dissemination and Sustainability

UEK is responsible in the duration of the project EEIHSR for dissemination materials like the web site and social media. This are addressed to a scientific and non-scientific public, stakeholders and in order to make the project known and progressively declare the main results achieved.

  • web site: www.eeihsr.com includes the project and EU logos and a general description of the project. Sections of the website are periodically updated with news and events. The website is prepared and published both in English and Russian languages,
  • social media: Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Eeihsr-2155934094483638) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/eeihsr) – the Facebook page and Twitter contains news and photo materials from the meetings of the project partners and other projects activities.
  • representatives from UEK took part at the Web conference ‘Problems and perspectives of railway transport development’ (February 2021) with the presentation ‘The logistical component of the project “Economy, ecology and infrastructure on high-speed railways – a prerequisite for success’.

Work Package 7 – Day-by Day Management

UEK is preparing materials for trainings and dissemination conference and participating in on-line meetings with project manager.
